NANOConVEX CIG is a relevant step forward to reach the market defined during a very successful COST Action, Nanouptake.
Nanouptake – Overcoming Barriers to Nanofluids Market Uptake (COST Action CA15119) aimed to create a Europe-wide network of leading R+D+i institutions, and of key industries, to develop and foster the use of nanofluids as advanced heat transfer/thermal storage materials to increase the efficiency of heat exchange and storage systems.

The CIG aims to make nanofluids available to a large number of European companies acting in the field of heat transfer in its broadest industrial meaning. The application of nanofluids advances the state of the art in the sense that highly flexible and efficient heat transfer devices become available to deliver tailored solutions for e.g. heat recovery and battery cooling. That in turn contributes to the transition to a competitive low carbon economy of Europe by 2050.
